오바마 의원의 요청에 따라 오는 26일 열리는 회의에서 클린턴 의원은 오바마 의원을 자신의 기부금 모금 책임자에게 소개할 예정입니다.
오바마 의원과 클린턴 의원은 장기간의 경선 과정 끝에 민주당 단일화를 위해 오는 27일 처음으로 함께 선거 운동을 벌일 계획입니다.
한편, 오바마 의원은 25일 핵심적인 두가지 모금 운동을 시작했습니다. 앞서 오바마 의원은 며칠 전 사실상 공화당 대통령 후보로 확정된 존 맥케인 상원의원과의 결선을 위해 공공 기금을 쓰지 않겠다고 밝힌 바 있습니다.
오바마 의원은 캘리포니아 주 로스앤젤레스에서 열린
할리우드 모금 행사에 참석했으며, 인터넷에 기반을 둔 지지자들의 소액 기부도 요청했습니다.

help Hillary Clinton pay off 10-million dollars in campaign debt.
Senator Obama's request sets the stage for a meeting Thursday, when his former
rival will introduce Obama to her top fundraisers.
Obama and Clinton are scheduled Friday to campaign together for the first time
as they try to unite the party after a long and divisive fight for the
nomination.
Also Tuesday, Obama tapped two key fundraising sources, days after opting out
of using public funds for his general election campaign against the presumed
Republican nominee, Senator John McCain.
Obama attended a gala with Hollywood celebrities in Los Angeles, California and
also appealed for small donations from his Internet base of supporters.
Candidates who take the 84-million dollars in public funding cannot raise money
from donors, but those who forgo public funding are free to raise an unlimited
amount of private funds.
