중국 언론매체들은 처음에 워룽 판다 자연보호구에서 사육하고 있는 판다 60여마리가 모두 안전하다고 보도했으나 관계관들은 현재 3마리가 실종됐다고 말하고 있습니다.
중국 관영 신화 통신은 이번 지진으로 워룽자연보호구 직원 5명이 사망하고 판다 우리 대부분이 파손 또는 파괴됐다고 보도했습니다.
신화통신은 판다를 위한 대나무와 사과, 동물용 의료용품 등이 17일 워룽 판다자연보호구에 도착했다고 전했습니다.
자이언트 판다는 세계에서 가장 희귀한 동물가운데 하나로 오로지 중국에서만 발견되고 있습니다.

China says three giant pandas are missing after last week's massive earthquake affected a large reserve for the endangered animals.
Chinese media initially reported that the more than 60 pandas raised at the Wolong Nature Reserve were safe, but officials now say three are missing.
The state-run Xinhua news agency says the quake killed five staff at the nature reserve and seriously damaged or destroyed all of the panda houses on the site.
It said the first batch of bamboo, apples, and veterinary medicine for the pandas arrived at the reserve Saturday.
The news agency said authorities are still trying to assess the status of nearly 16-hundred pandas that live in the wild in the earthquake-hit region.
The giant panda is one of the world's most endangered species and is found only in China.
