오바마 의원은 인디애나 주에서 CNN방송과의 인터뷰에서 이란을 완전히 없애버리겠다고 위협한 클린턴 의원을 비난했습니다. 오마바 의원은 클린턴 의원의 발언은 부시 대통령의 외교정책을 반영하는 것이라고 말했습니다.
클린턴 의원은 이와는 별도의 인터뷰에서 치솟는 휘발유 가격으로 인한 소비자들의 부담을 줄이기 위해 연방 유류세를 면제하겠다는 제안에 대한 오바마 의원과 경제학자들의 비난을 일축했습니다.

U.S. Democratic Party presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are making a final push for support today (Monday) on the eve of two important primary contests.
The rivals and fellow U.S. senators have campaigned extensively in the states, Indiana and North Carolina, ahead of the vote.
In a television interview today from North Carolina, Clinton stood by her remark that if she were president the United States would launch "massive retaliation" against Iran if it attacked Israel with a nuclear weapon.
Obama has criticized Clinton for saying she would "obliterate" Iran if it attacked Israel. Speaking to CNN from Indiana, Obama said that type of language is provocative and the same kind that has been used by President George Bush. He said he would respond forcefully to such an attack.
