6일 미국 뉴욕시에서 발생한 폭발 사건의 용의자들이 미 의회 일부 의원들에게 사건 현장인 미군 모병소의 사진을 보냈습니다.
미국 경찰 당국은 의원들에게 배달된 사진에 “새해 복 많이 받으세요. 우리가 해냈습니다.”라는 메시지가 적혀 있었다고 밝혔습니다.
지난 6일 새벽 발생한 폭발로 미군 모병소의 창문과 정문이 부숴졌으나 사상자는 없었습니다.
뉴욕 경찰은 폭발이 있기 직전 미군 모병소에서 수상하게 행동하는 사람이 있었다는 목격자의 진술을 확보했다고 밝혔습니다.

Authorities say several U.S. lawmakers have received mailings containing a photo of the military recruiting center in New York City that was bombed Thursday.
The mailings sent to several members of Congress contained a photo of the Times Square recruiting office before the bombing, with the message "Happy New Year, We Did It" written on it. The envelopes also contained what is described as a long political manifesto.
The letters did not contain any specific threat to any lawmakers.
Thursday's pre-dawn explosion shattered glass and buckled the front door of the small recruiting center, which was empty at the time. No one was injured.
New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said a witness reported seeing an individual who was acting suspiciously near the center just before the explosion.
