Authorities in India say two explosions have killed at least 37 people and wounded 50 others in Hyderabad, the capital of southern Andhra Pradesh state.
Senior state officials are calling the blasts an act of terrorism. There is no immediate claim of responsibility.
Police say the blasts occurred about 10 minutes apart late today (Saturday) during a laser show at the Lumbini amusement park, and at a busy restaurant about five kilometers away. The state's ome minister (K. Jana Reddy) says at least 24 victims died at the market eatery.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh condemned the Hyderabad blasts.
In May, a bomb killed 11 people at an historic Mosque in Hyderabad. Police shot and killed five more people in riots that erupted after the bombing.
