현지 병원 관계자들은 사망자들은 머리에 총을 맞아 숨졌다고 전했습니다. 이라크 관리들은 시아파 경찰관들이 이번 공격에 가담했다고 말했고 이라크군은 탈아파르에 야간통행금지령을 내렸습니다.
이 지역에서는 전날 한 시아파 사원 앞에서 트럭을 이용한 자살폭탄공격 2건이 거의 동시에 발생해 적어도 60명이 숨지고 100명 이상이 다쳤습니다.
한편, 서부 도시 팔루자에서는 28일 염소가스를 실은 트럭을 이용한 자살폭탄 테러가 정부센터에서 발생해 미국과 이라크 보안직원 15명이 다쳤다고 미군 당국이 밝혔습니다.

Iraqi officials say gunmen have killed about 50 people in a Sunni district in the northern town of Tal Afar in apparent reprisal for Tuesday's deadly truck bombings in a Shi'ite area.
Medical officials say the victims had been shot in the head. Iraqi officials say Shi'ite policemen allegedly took part in the rampage, and the Iraqi army has imposed a curfew in the town.
Tuesday, two nearly simultaneous truck bombings killed at least 60 people and wounded more than 100 others in Tal Afar.
In the western city of Fallujah, the U.S. military says suicide truck bombers carrying toxic chlorine attacked the government center today (Wednesday). The military says the attack was repulsed, but 15 U.S. and Iraqi security personnel were wounded. Numerous Iraqi soldiers and policemen were also treated for symptoms of chlorine inhalation.
