병원 관계자들은 하마스 경찰관 1명과 파타 당 소속 보안원 2명등 최소한 3명이 사망했다고 밝혔습니다.
이들은 또 어린이 여러명을 포함해 민간인 여러명이 부상했다고 전했습니다.
양측간의 이번 충돌은 파타당이 감독하고 있는 팔레스타인 정보국 근처,가자시 거리의 시파 병원에서 발생했습니다.
팔레스타인에서는 압바스 수반의 조기 총선 요구와 관련해 양측간의 충돌을 막기 위해 휴전이 선언된 이래 산발적인 충돌이 계속되고 있습니다. 압바스 수반은 18일, 팔레스타인을 방문중인 토니 블레어 영국 총리에게거국 정부 구성에 실패함에 따라 조기 총선을 추진할 계획이라고 말했습니다.

Rival Palestinian Fatah and Hamas factions fought pitched battles in the Gaza Strip today (Tuesday), two days after announcing a ceasefire.
Hospital officials say at least three people -- one Hamas policeman and two Fatah security men -- were killed. They say several civilians, including many children, were also wounded.
The clashes broke out at the Shifa Hospital, on the streets of Gaza City and near the headquarters of the Fatah-controlled Palestinian intelligence service.
Sporadic clashes have continued since Sunday's announcement of a ceasefire intended to end fighting over Mr. Abbas' call for new elections. Hamas has vowed to boycott an early vote.
Mr. Abbas told visiting British Prime Minister Tony Blair Monday that he was planning to push for early elections, after failing to form a unity government.
