일본의 경제가 1960년대의 경제 호황기록을 깨고 제 2차 세계대전이래 사상 최장기 호황을 누리고 있다고 일본 정부가 밝혔습니다.
일본 정부는 보고서를 통해 일본의 경제가 58개월째 , 지난 2천 2년 1월부터 근 5년간 회복세를 보이면서 호황기를 구가하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
이는 전후 재건과 근대화로 경제가 급성장했던, 1965년 10월부터 70년 7월까지 연속 57개월간 호조를 보였던 이전의 기록을 넘어서는 것입니다.

Japan's government says the country's economy has now enjoyed the longest period of expansion since World War Two, surpassing a boom in the 1960s.
In a report released today (Wednesday), Tokyo says the Japanese economy has been recovering for 58 months, or almost five years, beginning in January 2002.
That exceeds Japan's previous record period of expansion from (October) 1965 to (July) 1970, when the economy got a boost from postwar reconstruction and modernization.
However, the government warned of recent weakness in consumer spending and downgraded its monthly assessment of the economy for the first time since December 2004.
