북한은 최근 북한의 핵실험에 따른 유엔의 대북 제재를 이행하기 위해 미국이 남한에 반공화국 제재를 강박하고 대결을 부추기고 있다고 비난했다고 남한의 연합통신이 28일 보도했습니다.
연합통신은 북한의 대남기구인 [민족화해협의회]가 이날 “대미 추종은 전쟁이고 죽음”이라면서 “남조선의 각계각층 인민들은 미국의 전횡과 간섭 책동을 단호히 반대하고, 미국의 제재 책동에 추종하는 일체 반역행위를 절대로 용납하지 말아야 한다”고 주장했다고 보도했습니다.
이같은 보도는 남한 정부가 북한이 첫 핵실험을 실시한 지역에서 의심스러운 움직임을 포착하고 이를 주시하고 있다는 보도 뒤에 나온 것입니다.
한국군 소식통의 말을 인용한 이 보도들은 현재 북한이 함경북도 길주군 평계리에 새 구조물을 건설하고 있다고 보도했습니다.
그러나 이 소식통은 이 시설이 무슨 용도로 세워지는 것인지는 확실치 않다고 말했습니다.

A South Korean News agency reports that North Korea has accused the United States of pressuring South Korea to go along with U.N. sanctions in response to the north's recent nuclear test.
The South Korean News service Yonhap reports that a statement from the North Korean Reconciliation Council today (Saturday) accused the U.S. of using what it called "gangster-like" tactics to dictate to South Korea what actions it should take.
The report follows earlier news reports that say South Korea is monitoring suspicious activities at a North Korean nuclear site where Pyongyang carried out its first nuclear test earlier this month.
The reports quote South Korean military sources as saying Pyongyang is building a new structure at the Punggye-ri site in North Korea's remote northeast. But, the sources say the purpose of the facility is unclear.
