러시아 당국은 23일 한국 동해안에서 동북쪽으로 100킬로미터 떨어진 지점에서 화물선의 위치를 최종 확인했다고 밝혔습니다.
러시아 교통 당국에 따르면 침몰한 화물선의 선장은 이날 오전 일부 화물이 바다로 떨어지며 배가 심하게 기울었다는 무전을 보내왔습니다.
한편 러시아와 한국의 구조대원들은 강한 바람과 폭우 때문에 구조 항공기의 접근이 어럽다고 밝혔습니다.

Russian authorities say a number of vessels are making their way today (Monday) toward the last known location of the "Sinegorye" -- about 100 kilometers northeast of the South Korean coast.
Russia transport officials are quoted as saying the vessel's captain radioed early today that his ship was listing badly, after some of its cargo shifted and rolled into the sea.
Rescuers in Russia and South Korea say strong winds and heavy rains were preventing aircraft from joining the search.
