시오자카 야수히사 장관은 27일, 새로 선출된 일본 지도자가 가능한 한 빠른 시일 안에 중국 및 한국과 회담할 준비가 돼 있다고 말했습니다.
아베 총리가 지난 26일 취임한 직후, 중국의 원자바오 총리는 중국과 일본 간의 우호 협력 관계를 발전시키기 위해 가차없이 노력할 것을 다짐하는 메시지를 일본에 보냈습니다.
한국의 노무현 대통령은 일본의 새 지도자가 동북아시아 지역 협력을 더욱 증진시키기를 바란다고 말했습니다.

Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary says Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wants to hold summit meetings with China and South Korea, to mend Japan's ties with its Asian neighbors.
Yasuhisa Shiozaki said today (Wednesday) that Japan's newly elected leader is ready to hold talks with China and South Korea as soon as possible.
Shortly after Mr. Abe took office on Tuesday, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao sent a message to Japan pledging "relentless" efforts to develop friendly, cooperative relations between China and Japan.
In South Korea, President Roh Moo-hyun said he hopes Japan's new leader will promote regional cooperation in Northeast Asia.
Japan's relations with China and South Korea worsened significantly in recent years, mainly because of former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's repeated visits to a controversial war shrine.
