시위자들은 이스라엘 국기를 흔들며 이스라엘에 대한 위협과 유대인 대학살 부인 등 아흐마디네자드 대통령의 잇단 발언에 항의했으며 바바리아주의 괸테르 백스타인 내무장관은 아흐마디네자드 같은 범죄자는 독일에서 환영받지 않는다고 시위자들에게 외쳤습니다.
독일 경찰은 이번 시위가 뉘른베르크 지역 유대인협회와 일부 독일 단체들의 주관으로 벌어졌다고 말했습니다

More than one thousand people joined a rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today (Sunday) in Nuremberg, Germany before the city hosted a World Cup match between Iran and Mexico.
Protesters waved Israeli flags and denounced the Iranian leader's threats against Israel and his repeated denial of the Holocaust.
Police said the protest -- organized by the local Jewish community and German trade unionists -- was peaceful.
Bavarian Interior Minister Guenther Beckstein told protesters that, in his words, "a criminal like Ahmadinejad is not welcome in Germany."
