테러조직 알 카에다의 지도자 오사마 빈 라덴은 새로 공개한 육성 테이프에서 9.11 테러 공격의 공범으로 수감돼 있는 자카리아스 무사위는 9.11 테러와 무관한 인물이라고 말했습니다.
자신을 빈라덴이라고 밝힌 이 남성은 23일 인터넷을 통해 공개한 육성 테잎에서 본인은 9.11 테러 당시 비행기 납치를 위해 19명에게 개인적으로 임무를 맡겼으며 무사위는 그 대상에 포함돼 있지 않다고 말했습니다.
빈라덴은 무사위는 당시 비행 훈련을 받고 있었기때문에 비행기 납치 임무를 맡기지 않았다고 말했습니다. 그는 또 무사위의 자백은 거짓이며 이는 수감중 당한 억압의 결과라고 말했습니다. 무사위는 테러와 관련한 6개 혐의를 받아 현재 종신형을 받고 수감중에 있습니다.

A new audio tape purportedly from al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden says imprisoned terrorist Zacarias had nothing to do with the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the United States.
In the tape, which was released Tuesday on the Internet, a man identifying himself as bin Laden said he personally assigned what he called the "19 brothers" to carry out the hijackings.
He said Moussaoui was still learning to fly and was not assigned to be a hijacker. He also said Moussaoui's confession was false and the result of pressure during imprisonment.
Moussaoui pled guilty to six terror conspiracy charges last year and is now serving life in prison in the United States.
The voice on the tape also said the prisoners in Guantanamo had no connection with the September 11th attacks, and knew nothing about the plan, except for two people. He did not elaborate.
He also said most of the prisoners in Guantanamo have no ties to al-Qaida.
Experts have not yet verified if the voice belongs to bin Laden.
