Indian police say at least 11 people have been killed and several others wounded by an explosion set off by Maoist rebels in central India's Chhattisgarh state.
Authorities say the rebels set off a landmine under a vehicle late Friday. Officials say the rebels most likely mistook the vehicle for a police jeep.
The Maoists have carried out several attacks in the area in recent months.
