Authorities in Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula have reported two separate outbreaks of bird flu.
Officials said Tuesday the virus was found in wild birds in the town of Aloushta and in a flock of turkeys in the village of Tsvetochnoe.
They did not say if the birds had the deadly H5N1 virus, which has killed 85 people in southeast Asia, China, and Turkey since 2003.
Earlier Tuesday, the World Health Organization said it has confirmed 160 human cases of bird flu worldwide.
It says it is sending a team of specialists to northern Iraq to investigate possible bird flu cases there.
