중국은 가금류에서 또다시 조류독감이 발생했다고 말했습니다. 이번에 조류독감이 발생한 곳은 중국 북부 지역입니다.
중국 농업부는 25일 내몽골에서 2백여마리의 조류가 치명적인 H5N1 조류독감 바이러스로 인해 사망했다면서 조류독감 확산을 막기 위해 1만6천여마리의 가금류를 폐기처분했다고 말했습니다.
한편 인도네시아는 스위스의 대형 제약회사인 로쉬사로부터 사람에게 번지는 조류독감 치료에 가장 효과적인 것으로 알려진 타미풀루를 인도네시아 내에서 제조하는 것을 허가받았다고 말했습니다.

Chinese officials are reporting a new outbreak of bird flu in poultry - this time in northern China. China's agriculture ministry said today (Friday) that a state lab has confirmed that more than 200 birds died of the H5N1 strain of bird flu in Inner Mongolia.
More than 16,000 birds have been culled in an effort to contain the outbreak. Earlier Friday, Indonesia said it has received permission from Swiss drug giant Roche to locally produce Tamiflu, the drug thought to be most effective in treating bird flu in humans.
Indonesia is the second country to get the go-ahead to produce the anti-flu medicine, after Vietnam. Nearly 70 people have died of bird flu in Asia since 2003.
