그러나, 일부 미군 기지 근처에 살고있는 현지 정치인들과 주민 단체들은, 지난 5일에 발표된 이 계획으로 주일 미군을 유지하는데 자신들이 너무 많은 부담을 지는 것이라고 주장하면서 이 계획에 반대하고 있습니다.

Japan's cabinet has agreed to expedite the realignment of U.S. military forces in the country despite objections from some local political leaders. Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe told reporters today (Friday) that the plan will be fully explained to municipalities and they can expect to receive assistance from Tokyo.
The deal announced last Saturday calls for Japan to take more responsibility for its defenses, reduced U.S. forces in Okinawa, and a new radar-based missile defense system.
But local politicians and citizens groups living near some U.S. bases oppose the deal, arguing they bear too much of the burden of having American forces in their country.
