미국을 방문 중인 찰스 영국 왕세자와 부인 카밀라가 2일 낮 백악관에서 부쉬 대통령과 오찬을 함께 했습니다. 두 사람의 미국 방문은 지난 4월 결혼 이후 처음입니다.
찰스 왕세자 부부는 저녁에는 백악관에서 열리는 국빈만찬에 참석하며, 이어 뉴올리안스를 방문해 태풍 카트리나 피해자들을 만날 예정입니다.
이들 부부는 전날 일주일 간의 일정 중 첫 방문지인 뉴욕에 도착해 2001년 9/11 테러의 영국인 희생자 67명을 기리기 위한 기념관 준공식에 참석했습니다.

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are to meet President and Mrs. Bush for lunch at the White House today (Wednesday), in their first U.S. visit since they were married in April.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will also be the guests of honor at a state dinner at the White House later in the day.
From Washington, they will travel to New Orleans to meet with victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The royal couple spent the first day of the week-long trip in New York City Tuesday, where they dedicated a memorial to the 67 British victims of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, and attended a star-studded reception at the city's famous Museum of Modern Art.
Prince Charles also met United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and attended a meeting on youth employment.
