올해 25세의 장정은 이날 끝난 대회 최종 라운드에서 3언더 파 69타를 쳐 최종합계 16언더파 272타로 276타를 친 스웨덴의 소피 구스타프손을 4타 차로 따돌리고 우승을 차지했습니다.
또한 한국의 미셀 위와 김영은 10언더파로 공동 3위를 차지했습니다.

South Korean golfer Jeong Jang has captured the first major tournament of her career with a four-stroke victory at the Women's British Open in Southport, England.
The 25-year-old South Korean started Sunday's final round at the Royal Birkdale course with a five-shot lead. She fired a three-under-par 69 to end the event with a 16-under total of 272.
Former-champion Sophie Gustafson of Sweden carded a 67 Sunday to finish in second place with a total of 276. South Korean Young Kim and teen-aged amateur Michelle Wie of the United States tied for third place, another two strokes back.
