불가리아 동남부에서 새로 발굴된 고대 트라키아 왕의 무덤에서 진귀한 보물들이 발견됐습니다.
고고학자들은 약 2,300년 전에 살았을 것으로 추정되는, 신원이 밝혀지지 않은 이 왕의 무덤에서 금관, 금과 은으로 만들어진 갑옷, 그리고 수 많은 금잔과 은잔을 발견했습니다.
고고학자들은 무덤 속의 왕이 말 2마리, 개 1마리와 함께 묻혔다고 말했습니다. 현대 불가리아는 서남부 유럽에서 카프카즈 지방까지 펼쳐졌던 고대 트라키아 문명의 중심지에 자리잡고 있습니다.
트라키아 제국은 3세기 까지 4천 년 이상 지속됐습니다.

Archaeologists in southeastern Bulgaria say they have discovered treasure in the newly unearthed tomb of an ancient Thracian king.
The scientists discovered a gold crown, gold and silver body armor, and numerous silver and gold cups in the tomb of an unidentified king they estimate lived some 23-hundred years ago.
They say the king was buried along with his dog and two horses. Southern Bulgaria is dotted with Thracian tombs, but the head of Bulgaria's national museum says this new archaeological find is believed to be the richest Thracian tomb discovery in the last 100 years.
Modern Bulgaria is located at the center of the ancient Thracian civilization, which extended from southwestern Europe to the Caucasus region. The empire lasted for more than four-thousand years, until the third century.
