영국은 극렬분자들의 데이타 베이스 목록을 구축해 자동으로 이들의 입국을 금지하는 내용의 새로운 대테러 계획을 발표했습니다.
챨스 클라크 영국 내무 장관은 새 방안은 이번달 56명의 목숨을 앗아간 런던 자살 폭탄 테러에 대응해서 취한 조치라고 말했습니다.
클라크 장관은 20일 영국 의회에서 새로운 데이타베이스는 극단적인 사고의 설교, 극단주의 웹사이트를 운용하거나 테러리즘을 조장할 수 있는 글을 쓰는 행위와 같이 용인할 수 없는 행위들을 하는 사람들을 목록화할 것이라고 말했습니다.
클라크 장관은 또한 사람들에게 테러리즘을 사주하는 회교 성직자들을 표적으로 하는 새로운 입법 계획을 발표했습니다.
한편, 토니 블레어 영국 총리는 이날 의원들에게 회교 극단주의를 뿌리 뽑기위한 국제 회의 개최를 고려하고 있다고 말했습니다.

Britain has announced plans to set up a database of extremists who would face automatic questioning and could be barred from entering the country.
Home Secretary Charles Clark called the proposal part of planned measures in response to the London suicide bombings that left at least 56 people dead this month. He told parliament the database will list people known
for unacceptable behavior such as preaching radical ideas, running extremist websites or writing articles that could foment terrorism.
He also announced plans for new legislation that would target clerics who incite others to terrorism. Themeasure also would allow authorities to arrest suspects caught in the early stages of planning a terrorist attack
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tony Blair told lawmakers he is considering calling an international conference on ways to root out Islamic extremism. He said it would address such issues as ways of dealing with Islamic schools that teach extremism.
