Archaeologists working in Egypt's Valley of the Kings ancient burial site have discovered embalming material, jewelry made from woven flowers and other artifacts in a previously unopened tomb -- but there was no mummy.

The tomb believed to be more than three-thousand years old was fully revealed Wednesday, when scientists opened the last of seven sarcophagi found inside.

None of the seven coffins contained bodies. Most of them were filled with pottery shards that would crumble into dust if touched. One small coffin, made for a baby, contained pillows that appeared to be stuffed with feathers.

Scientists believe the find will help them identify who the coffins were made for, and perhaps where the bodies were ultimately buried.

The tomb was discovered last year by American archaeologists.
