Couples in the Philippines hope to break a record set last year for a mass kissing festival on Valentine's Day.

About 5,300 kissing couples in Manila kissed for at least 10 seconds on Valentine's day (February 14) in Manila last year for an event named "Lovapalooza," breaking Chile's record of 4,445 in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This year, "Lovapalooza 2" will commemorate the feat with what is being called "a million kisses, a million heart beats, and probably a million people falling in love for the second time around."

The kissing festival will be held simultaneously in at least four cities nationwide.
