선거위원회는 파키스탄인민당의 아시프 알리 자르다리 당의장과, 은퇴 판사 사이드 우즈 자마 시디키 그리고 무사히드 후세인 사예드 중 한 명을 지역의원들과 국회의원들이 선출할 수 있다고 30일 밝혔습니다.
시디키 판사는 파키스탄이슬람정당-L과 연계하고 있으며, 사예드 씨는 퇴진한 페르베즈 무샤라프 대통령이 속한 당을 대표하고 있습니다.
무샤라프 전 대통령은 의회에서의 정교하게 계획된 일련의 불신임 투표 이후 지난 주 물러났습니다.
무샤라프 전 대통령은 국가 비상사태를 선포하고 자신의 재임에 대한 합법성을 재판하려던 판사들을 해임했습니다.
파키스탄 대통령 선거는 9월 6일에 치뤄집니다.

Pakistan's election commission has announced the final
list of three candidates for the upcoming presidential election.
The commission said today (Saturday)regional and national lawmakers
will be able to choose from Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali
Zardari, retired judge Said-uz Zaman Siddiqui and Mushahid Hussain Sayed.
Siddiqui is aligned with the Pakistan Muslim League-N party of former Prime
Minister Nawaz Sharif, while Sayed represents the party of former President
Pervez Musharraf.
Mr. Musharraf resigned last week following a series of carefully orchestrated
no-confidence votes in parliament.
He lost public support after he declared a state of emergency and fired several
judges who planned to rule on the legitimacy of his presidency.
The election is set for September sixth.
