한국의 대통령과 중국의 국가주석이 몇 달안에 상호 교환방문 한다고 한국 외교통상부가 말했습니다.
한국 외교통상부의 유명환 장관은 22일, 베이징 방문일정을 끝마치면서 한,중 정상의 교환방문 계획을 이같이 발표했습니다. 유 장관은 두 나라 정상들의 교환방문을 통해 한.중 관계증진과 북한의 핵무기폐기 문제 등이 중점적으로 논의될 것이라고 말했습니다.
이명박 한국 대통령의 중국 방문은 빠르면 5월중에 이루어질 수도 있을 것으로 보입니다.
후진타오 중국 국가주석의 한국 방문은 이명박 대통령의 중국 방문후 적절한 시기에 이루어질 것으로 중국측이 원칙합의했다고 유 장관이 밝혔습니다.
South Korea's foreign minister says the presidents of South Korea and China will
exchange visits in coming months.
Foreign minister Yu Myung-Hwan announced the planned meetings today
(Saturday) as he wrapped up a three-day visit to Beijing where he met with senior
Chinese leaders.
Yu said the presidential visits would focus on improving relations between the two
countries and would allow the two presidents to discuss North Korean nuclear
disarmament.
South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak could visit Beijing as early as May.
Yu said China has "agreed in principle" to a visit to Seoul by Chinese President Hu
Jintao sometime after that.
