국제개발처는 ‘디벨럽먼트 얼터나티브사’와 4,300만달러 규모의 파키스탄 지원계약을 체결했습니다.
이 회사는 앞으로 파키스탄 정부와 비정부기구들이 여러 분야의 개발계획을 계획하고 집행하며 감시하는 것을 돕게 됩니다.

The United States is giving 750-million dollars to Pakistan to help develop its remote tribal region.
The U.S. Agency for International Development says the money -- to be allocated over five years -- will fund projects in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas -- or FATA -- which border Afghanistan.
The agency says the projects include efforts to strengthen livelihoods, expand economic opportunities and improve education and healthcare.
A 43-million dollar contract has been awarded by the agency to Development Alternatives, Incorporated. The company will help the Pakistani government and non-governmental organizations to plan, implement and monitor a wide range of development programs.
The Federally Administered Tribal Areas are governed by the Pakistani central government, but Pashtun tribal elders run the day to day affairs of the region.
