중국 외교부는 북핵 6자회담 재개 일정이 아직 정해지지 않았다고 밝혔습니다. 중국의 관영 신화통신은 중국 외교부의 장위 (Jian Yu) 대변인이 23일 기자들에게 회담 재개 날짜가 아직 논의되고 있다고 말했다고 전했습니다.
장 대변인은 6자회담의 모든 참가국들에 북핵 문제 해결을 위해 융통성 있고 실질적인 접근방법을 취할 것을 촉구했습니다.
이번 주 중국을 방문하고 귀국한 미국 국무부의 크리스토퍼 힐 동아시아 태평양 담당 차관보는 6자회담이 12월 중순에 재개될 것으로 기대한다고 말한바 있습니다.
힐 차관보는 이 문제를 협의하기 위해 오는 26일 다시 중국을 방문할 예정이라고 미국 관리들은 전했습니다.

China's foreign ministry says no firm date has been set for resumption of the six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons program.
China's Xinhua news agecy says foreign ministry spokeswoman Jian Yu told reporters today (Thursday) the date for the talks is still under discussion.
She called on all parties to take a flexible and substantive approach on the North Korean nuclear issue.
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill - who just returned from a trip to China this week - has said he expects the six-party talks to resume in mid-December.
U.S. officials say Hill will head back to China Sunday for further discussions.
Wednesday, the South Korean news agency, Yonhap, quoted a North Korean official as saying the North will not abandon its nuclear weapons program ahead of the talks.
