와지드 샴술 하산 고등판무관은 소식통을 밝히지 않고 이같이 밝혔으며, 즉각 아시프 알리 자르다리 파키스탄 대통령에게 알렸다고 밝혔습니다.
지난 달 26일 발생해 1백70명 이상이 사망하고 3백명 가까이 부상한 뭄바이 테러 사건 이후, 인도와 파키스탄 간의 갈등이 고조되고 있습니다.
인도는 파키스탄에 있는 무장단체가 테러를 저질렀다고 비난하고 있습니다.

Pakistan's senior diplomat in Britain said Saturday he received information that India was planning a military strike against Pakistan, following the Mumbai terror attacks.
High Commissioner Wajid Shamsul Hassan declined to identify his sources, but said he immediately alerted Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have soared since the deadly siege that began on November 26th, killing more than 170 people and wounding nearly 300 others.
India blames the Pakistani-based militant group (Lashkar-e-Taiba)for the attacks.
On Friday, Indian police arrested two Indian men in the eastern city of Kolkata, who purchased at least 22 phone cards later used by the gunmen. (It is not clear whether they had prior knowledge of the terrorist plot).
Meanwhile, a team of Mumbai detectives was sent to India's northwestern state of Gujarat where the attackers allegedly hijacked a fishing boat. As they neared Mumbai's coast, they killed the boat's captain and four crew members.
