미국의 우주왕복선 엔데버호는 플로리다주 케네디 우주 센터의 기상 악화로 30일 캘리포니아주 에드워드 공군 기지로 우회 착륙할 계획입니다.
미국항공우주국, 나사는 미국 플로리다주의 케네디 우주 센터의 불안정한 날씨가 엔데버호의 지구 귀환을 에드워드 공군 기지로 우회하도록 만들었다고 밝혔습니다.
나사는 플로리다주의 악천후가 12월 1일까지 계속될 것으로 예상됨에 따라 엔데버 호를 에드워드 공군기지로 귀환시키는 계획을 채택했다고 설명했습니다.
엔데버 호의 우주인 7명은 국제우주정거장 생활 공간의 증축 작업을 위한 16일간의 임무를 마치고 지구로 귀환합니다.
엔데버호는 12월 2일까지 우주에 머무를 수 있는 충분한 물자를 확보하고 있습니다.

The U.S. space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to land at a backup location today (Sunday)because of bad weather at the main landing site at the Kennedy Space Center in (the east coast state of)Florida.
The unstable weather forced the U.S. space agency, NASA, to divert the Endeavour's homecoming to Edwards Air Force Base in (the west coast state of) California. (Touchdown is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. local time/2125 GMT).
NASA says it opted for the alternate plan because forecasters expected the bad weather in Florida to continue through Monday. The shuttle has enough supplies to stay up until Tuesday.
The seven-member crew is returning from a 16-day mission to expand the living quarters on the International Space Station. The astronauts began work to double the living space to accommodate six crew members by the middle of next year.
