팔레스타인 목격자들은 이스라엘 군이 팔레스타인 무장단체 하마스와 연관된 혐의로 요르단강 서안지구 북부의 학교와 병원, 복지 기관을 폐쇄했다고 7일 밝혔습니다.
보안 관리들과 목격자들은 이스라엘 군이 이 날 나블루스 시를 급습해 컴퓨터와 문서, 현금 등을 압수했다고 밝혔습니다. 목격자들은 군인들이 무장단체와 연관돼 있다며 각 기관 문에 표지물을 붙이고, 이들 기관을 3년간 폐쇄할 것을 지시했다고 밝혔습니다.
하마스 관리들은 이같은 공습은 범죄라며 비난했습니다. 이스라엘 군은 즉각 이에 대한 논평을 내놓지 않았습니다. 이스라엘의 하레츠 신문은 이스라엘 군은 하마스에 대항해 요르단강 서안지구 진압을 강화하기 위해 이같은 결정을 내렸다고 보도했습니다.

Palestinian witnesses say Israeli troops have shut down a school, medical center and charity facility in the northern West Bank for alleged links to the Palestinian militant group, Hamas.
Security officials and witnesses say the troops seized computers, documents and cash during the early morning raids in the city of Nablus today (Monday). Witnesses say the soldiers then placed signs on the doors of the facilities, ordering them closed for three years because of links with militant groups.
Hamas officials condemned the raids as a crime.
The Israeli military did not immediately comment. However, Israel's Haaretz newspaper says the army has decided to intensify its crackdown in the West Bank against Hamas.
Hamas seized power of the Gaza Strip from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' forces last year, and Israel aims to prevent a repeat of the takeover in the West Bank.
