중 총리는 지난 2006년 취임 후 첫 미국 방문차 어제 미국에 도착했습니다.
부시 대통령과 중 총리는 오늘 회담에서 식량안보와 지역 경제협력 등을 논의할 전망입니다.
중 총리와 베트남 대표단은 미국 방문 기간 동안 앨런 그린스펀 전 연방준비제도이사회 의장을 비롯한 미국의 경제전문가와 관리들을 만나 자문을 구할 것으로 보입니다.
베트남은 빠른 경제성장을 보이고 있지만, 지난 5월, 25%의 연간 물가상승률을 기록했으며 무역적자도 확대되고 있습니다.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung meets with U.S. President
George Bush today (Tuesday) in Washington.
Mr. Dung arrived in the United States on Monday for his first visit to the
country since taking office in 2006.
Talks today at the White House are expected to cover food security, regional
economic cooperation, the U.N. Security Council and other issues.
While in the U.S., the Vietnamese leader and his delegation are expected to
seek advice from U.S. economic experts and officials, including former Federal
Reserve Board Chairman, Alan Greenspan.
Vietnam's economy is growing rapidly. But inflation hit 25 percent in May over
the same period last year in the communist country.
Vietnamese state media reported Monday that the country is also suffering a
widening trade deficit.
