NATO officials in Afghanistan say several rockets fired from Pakistan into Afghan territory have killed at least four people.
The officials say the rockets were fired at two NATO bases in Khost.
One rocket landed on a civilian home, killing a women and three children.
A Pakistani army spokesman (Athar Abbas) says (on Al-Jazeera television) the military was targeting militants on the border.
The incident comes a week after Pakistan blamed U.S.-led forces in Afghanistan for an air strike that killed 11 Pakistani soldiers.
