유엔은 운송 트럭의 연료 부족을 이유로 가자지구 팔레스타인 난민들에 대한 식량 배급을 중단했다고 24일 밝혔습니다.
아드난 아부 하즈나 가자 지구 유엔 구호국 대변인은 유엔의 식량 배급에 의존하고 있는 난민 70만명은 구호 식량을 받지 못할 것이라며 이같이 밝혔습니다.
하즈나 대변인은 유엔은 24일 마지막 남은 연료를 모두 소진했다고 밝혔습니다. 가자지구 내 병원과 의원들 역시 연료가 소진되고 있다고 전달 받았습니다.
이스라엘은 연료 수송이 끊어진 데 대해 이슬람 무장 단체 하마스를 비난하며 23일 가자지구 내 발전소 가동 유지를 위해 연료를 수송했습니다.

The United Nations has stopped distributing food to Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, citing a lack of fuel for its delivery trucks.
A spokesman for the UN Relief and Works Agency in Gaza, Adnan Abu Hasna, says some 700,000 refugees who depend on the U.N. for basic food packets will not be getting them.
He says the agency used the last of its fuel today (Thursday). Hospitals and clinics are also said to be running low on fuel.
Israel, which blames the Islamic militant group Hamas for the fuel stoppage, shipped fuel to Gaza Wednesday to keep its sole power plant running. But it maintains a ban on gasoline and diesel fuel, in a bid to halt near daily militant Palestinian rocket attacks on Israelis.
A Hamas official (Ashraf abu Dayeb) says that following Muslim prayers Friday, Palestinians will march on Gaza border crossings to protest the Israeli blockade.
