반기문 총장은 3일간의 러시아 방문 기간동안 블라드미르 푸틴 대통령과 드미트리 메드베데프 대통령 당선인, 세르게이 라프로프 외무장관 등을 만나, 수단의 다르푸르 사태와 중동평화 회담, 코소보 독립문제 등을 논의할 예정입니다.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is making his first official visit to Russia this week.
His talks with various top Russian officials will include Sudan's troubled Darfur region, a proposed Middle East conference and Kosovo.
During the three-day visit, which begins Wednesday, the U.N. chief is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President-elect Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and other top officials.
Mr. Ban is also expected to meet with Russian civil society leaders and address an audience at Moscow State University.
