그리즈로프 의장은 드미트리 메드베데프 차기 대통령이 다음달 7일 취임한 다음 날 러시아 하원이 차기 총리로 푸틴 현 대통령을 승인할 것이라고 말했습니다.
그리즈로프 의장은 하원 다수당인 통합러시아당의 의장입니다. 그리즈로프 의장은 또 통합러시아당이 오는 14일로 예정된 전당대회에서 푸틴을 새 의장으로 추대할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
The leader of Russia's lower house of parliament says lawmakers are set to approve outgoing President Vladimir Putin as prime minister on May eighth.
The speaker of the State Duma, Boris Gryzlov, told reporters today (Monday) that Mr. Putin will be endorsed as prime minister a day after the new president is sworn into office. Dmitry Medvedev's inauguration is set for May seventh.
Gryzlov is the chairman of the United Russia party, which holds majority in the parliament. Gryzlov also said United Russia will name Mr. Putin its new head during its annual congress on April 14.
