미국 국방부는 어제 탄도미사일에 들어가는 네 개의 전기 퓨즈와 배터리 시스템이 지난 2006년 타이완으로 선적됐다고 밝혔습니다. 전기 퓨즈는 지난 주까지 타이완의 창고에 보관돼 있었습니다.
이와 관련해 미국 국방부는 사건의 경위를 밝히기 위해 조사에 착수했다며, 타이완에 핵 물질이 전달되지는 않았다고 밝혔습니다.

China is demanding that the United States conduct a thorough investigation after Washington revealed it mistakenly shipped components for a nuclear missile to Taiwan.
In a statement posted on China's Foreign Ministry Web site today (Wednesday), Beijing urged Washington to promptly report details of its investigation into the incident to eliminate any negative effects and severe consequences.
The statement did not elaborate.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Defense said that four electrical fuses and battery systems used in the nose cone assemblies of ballistic missiles were shipped to Taiwan in 2006.
The fuses were in a warehouse in Taiwan until last week. Taiwan was expecting helicopter batteries.
The Pentagon has launched an investigation and it says no nuclear material was sent to Taiwan.
