중국의 전국인민대표대회, 전인대는 15일 후진타오 국가주석을 5년 임기의 새 국가주석으로 다시 선출했습니다.
널리 예상됐던 대로 약 3천 명의 전인대 대의원들은 거의 만장일치로 후 주석 재선출에 찬성했습니다.
전인대는 집권 공산당의 결정을 무조건 추종하는 기구로 간주되고 있습니다.
또한 전인대는 시진핑 정치국 상무위원을 부주석으로 선출하고, 우방궈 전인대 상무위원장을 11기 위원장으로 다시 선출했습니다.
시진핑 부주석은 혁명가의 아들로서 후 주석의 후계자로 널리 간주되고 있습니다. 시진핑 부주석은 또한 오는 8월 열리는 베이징 올림픽 준비 책임도 맡았습니다.

China's parliament has re-elected Communist Party chief Hu Jintao to serve as president for another five-year term.
The nearly three thousand deputies of the National People's Congress voted almost unanimously to re-elect Mr. Hu. The vote today (Saturday) had been widely expected. The parliament is regarded as a rubber-stamp body for the ruling Communist Party.
The parliament also elected Xi Jinping as vice president and Wu Bangguo as chairman of the 11th National People's Congress Standing Committee.
Xi is the son of a revolutionary and is widely seen as President Hu's successor. He has also been placed in charge of preparations for the Olympics, which will be held in Beijing in August.
