아프가니스탄인 수천여 명이 8일 이슬람의 선지자 모하메드를 풍자한 덴마크 만화가 재인쇄 되는 것에 항의하는 시위를 벌였습니다.
시위대는 이슬람을 모욕했다며 덴마크를 비난하는 구호를 외치며 서부 헤라트 시를 행진했습니다.

Thousands of people demonstrated in Afghanistan today (Saturday), protesting the reprinting of a cartoon in Denmark depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
The demonstrators marched through the western city of Herat, yelling slogans denouncing Denmark for insulting Islam.
The cartoon was one of 12 that led to deadly riots across the Muslim world when they were first published in 2006. Several Danish newspapers reprinted the cartoon last month in a show of support for the cartoonist, after police said they had uncovered a plot to kill the artist.
Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet Muhammad as blasphemous.
The Afghan protesters also denounced the Netherlands for an upcoming short film by Dutch right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders, who has denounced the Koran as a "fascist" book.
