중국을 방문 중인 우마루 야라두아 나이지리아 대통령이 중국 정부 지도자들과 만나 양국간 협력 확대 방안을 논의했습니다.
야라두아 대통령은 29일 우방궈 전인대 의장과 만났습니다. 중국 관영 신화통신은 우 의장이 나이지리아와 전략적 협력 확대를 원한다는 중국의 뜻을 전했다고 보도했습니다.
야라두아 대통령 부부는 지난 27일부터 나흘간 중국을 방문 중입니다. 신화통신에 따르면 이번 방문에는 나이지리아 외무장관, 에너지장관, 재무장관, 교통장관도 동행했습니다.
한편 야라두아 대통령은 28일 베이징에서 후진타오 중국국가주석과 정상회담을 갖고 양국간 경제, 무역, 정치 협력을 늘리기로 약속했습니다.

Visiting Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua has met with China's top legislator to discuss the two country's expanding ties.
Mr. Yar'Adua met Friday with Wu Bangguo, chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee. Chinese state media report that Wu expressed China's desire to deepen its strategic partnership with Nigeria.
The Nigerian president and his wife, leading a high-level delegation, arrived Wednesday on a four-day visit. China's official Xinhua news agency says the group includes Nigeria's ministers of foreign affairs, energy, finance, and transportation.
Mr. Yar'Adua and (Chinese) President Hu Jintao met in Beijing Thursday and pledged to expand their countries' economic, trade and political ties.
