13만명의 노동자도 전국 각지에서 피해 복구 지원 사업을 벌이고 있지만, 피해가 가장 심한 후난성 첸조우 시의 경우 2주째 전기가 들어오지 않고 있습니다.
중국 정부 관계자는 첸조우 시에 긴급 지원의 초점이 맞춰져 있다고 말했습니다. 한편 중국 관영 신화통신은 전력 복구 작업 중 11명이 숨졌다고 보도했습니다.

Chinese authorities are scrambling to restore electricity to nearly 40 cities and counties before the Lunar New Year holiday, as the country slowly recovers from brutal snow and ice storms.
Speaking with reporters today (Tuesday) in Beijing, a top power official (Gu Junyuan) says the government hopes to restore electricity to as many areas in China as possible. The Lunar New Year holiday begins on Thursday.
More than 130-thousand workers are spread out across the country to aid the effort. One of the worst affected areas, Hunan province's Chenzhou city, has been without power for nearly two weeks.
Officials say Chenzhou city is a key focus of emergency efforts, where power was briefly restored on Monday evening. State-media (Xinhua news agency) say 11 power workers have died as they worked to restore electricity.
