알제리 보안 당국은 수도 알제 동부의 경찰서에서 29일 자살차량 폭탄테러가 발생해 최소 4명이 숨지고 여러 명이 부상했다고 밝혔습니다.
수도에서 60키로미터 떨어진 테니아 시에서 발생한 이 날 테러는 경찰서 주위 지역에 막대한 손상을 입혔습니다.
이번 테러는 알제리에서 올들어 두번째로 발생했습니다.
앞서 이달 초 폭발물을 가득 실은 차량이 나시리아의 경찰서로 돌진해 경찰관 4명이 사망하고, 20명이 부상했습니다.
지난해 12월초에는 자살차량 폭탄테러 차량 2대가 수도 알제의 유엔 사무소와 정부 건물을 덮쳐 최소 37명이 사망했습니다.
무장단체 알카에다의 북 아프리카 담당 세력은 두 건의 테러 모두 자신들의 소행이라고 밝혔습니다.
Security officials in Algeria say a suicide car bomb attack at a police station east of Algiers has killed at least four people and wounded several others.
The attack occurred today (Tuesday) nearly 60 kilometers from the capital in the city of Thenia. Officials say the blast caused major damage to the area around the police station.
The attack is the second such blast since the start of the year.
Early this month, attackers rammed a car packed with explosives into a police station in the town of Naciria, killing four policemen and wounding 20 people.
Last year, twin suicide bombings in early December at U.N. offices and a government building killed at least 37 people in Algiers.
Al-Qaida's north African branch claimed responsibility for both attacks.
