중국의 조류독감 발병 환자가 29일 퇴원했습니다.
중국 관영 '신화통신'은 이 날 조류독감 H5N1 바이러스에 감염됐던 52살 환자가 충분히 회복한 뒤 지난 26일 퇴원했다고 밝혔습니다.
이 환자는 지난 2일 아들이 조류독감으로 사망한 직후 H5N1 바이러스에 감염돼 입원했었습니다.
세계보건기구, WHO는 중국의 이같은 사례로 조류독감의 인체감염에 대해 경고했었습니다.
전문가들은 조류독감 바이러스가 변이해 수백만명이 사망하는 전 세계적인 전염병을 야기할 수 있다고 보고 있습니다.

China says its latest bird flu patient has been discharged from the hospital after recovering.
The official Xinhua news agency said Saturday that the 52-year-old man was hospitalized with the deadly H5N1 strain of the virus soon after his son died from it on December second.
Xinhua says the father was discharged from a hospital in the eastern province of Jiangsu on December 26th after making a sufficient recovery.
The case prompted the World Health Organization to warn about the risks of human-to-human transmission of the virus. Experts say the virus could mutate and possibly cause a global pandemic that could kill millions.
