중국은 동해상에서 중국 어선과 라이베리아 선박이 충돌해 어부 19명이 실종됐다고 밝혔습니다.
중국 관영 신화 통신은 중국 저장성 인근 해상에서 발생한 이들 선박의 충돌로 중국 어선은 충돌후 침몰했으며 한 명이 구조됐다고 보도했습니다.
신화통신은 라이베리아 기를 단 이 선박은 충돌할 당시 한국을 떠나 타이완으로 향하던 중이었다고 덧붙였습니다.
16일 헬기와 30여척의 구조선박과 어선들이 생존자를 찾고 있으나 구조대원들은 낮은 수온이 실종된 선원들을 12시간 이상 견디기 힘들도록 만들 것이라고 말했습니다.

China says 19 people are missing after their fishing boat collided late Saturday with a Liberian-registered freighter in the East China Sea.
The state news agency Xinhua says the collision occurred off the coast of China's Zhejiang province. It says the fishing trawler capsized after being struck and that one person has been rescued.
The report says the Liberian-flagged ship "Taisu 10" was headed from South Korea to Taiwan when the collision occured.
A search was under way early today (Sunday), with helicopters and more than 30 rescue and fishing boats looking for survivors.
Rescuers said cold water temperatures would make human survival difficult after 12 hours.
