미국의 한 정보 기관은 이란이 비밀 핵무기 개발 활동을 4년전에 중단했다고 이번 주에 밝힌 바 있습니다. 이란 역시 지금까지 모든 핵무기 개발 활동을 부인해왔습니다.
하지만 그레고리 슐트 국제원력기구, IAEA미국대사는 ‘미국의 소리 방송’과의 회견에서 이란의 핵 개발 프로그램 재개를 우려할 만한 이유가 있다고 밝혔습니다.
미국은 이란의 우라늄 농축활동 중단을 위해 유엔 안전보장이사회를 통해 이란에 3차 제재를 가하는 방안을 모색하고 있습니다.
