한국 국회는 23일, 한국내 최대의 재벌기업의 하나인 삼성그룹 비자금에 대한 조사를 위해 특별검사 도입법안을 통과시켰습니다.
한국 국회는 이날 본회의에서 삼성 비자금 특별검사제 도입안을 표결에 부쳐 재적의원 189명 가운데 찬성 155표, 반대 17표, 기권 17표로 가결했습니다.
국회를 통과한 삼성 특검법안은 삼성그룹의 불법 로비를 위한 불법 비자금을 조성 경위와 그 비자금이 2002년 대선 자금 및 최고권력층에 대한 로비자금으로 사용됐다는 의혹, 그리고 공직자에 대한 뇌물 제공의혹사건을 조사하도록 했습니다.
청와대는 노무현 대통령이 이 법안에 대한 거부권 행사를 검토하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

South Korea's National Assembly has voted to open an independent investigation into allegations of corruption at the country's largest industrial group, Samsung.
Lawmakers voted today (Friday) 155 to 17 in favor of the measure, with 17 abstaining.
The president's office says Mr. Roh will consider vetoing the measure.
The legislation cites allegations that Samsung used a special fund to bribe powerful figures in the country, including government officials and members of the press.
Those allegations are based on the claims of Samsung's former chief legal attorney (Kim Yong-chul).
The bill also authorizes an investigation into whether the company made illicit payments during the 2002 presidential elections, which Mr. Roh won.
