중국의 국가환경보호총국이 공기 오염물질을 배출하는 주요 업체들의 증권시장 주식 상장을 금지하기로 했다고, 관영매체들이 보도했습니다.
중국의 관영 ‘데일리 차이나’신문은 20일, 앞으로 증권시장 상장 기업들이 환경기록을 공개하도록 의무화할 계획이라고 한 국가환경보호총국의 주 쉥샨 국장의 말을 인용, 보도했습니다.
주 쉥샨 국장은 또한 오는 2009년부터 오염을 배출하는 모든 기업에 대해 당국의 환경허가를 받도록 의무화할 방침이라고 밝혔습니다.
지난 7월에 중국 당국은 에너지 효율의 향상과 환경 오염을 줄이기 위해 과도한 환경오염을 유발하는 업체에 대해서는 은행대출을 회수하도록 지시했습니다.
중국 정부는 2006년부터 2010년 사이에 오염 배출을 10% 줄인다는 당초 목표 달성에 실패했음을 인정했습니다.
