13일 밤, 필리핀 수도 마닐라에 있는 국회 의사당에서 대형 폭발물이 터져 의원 한 명을 포함해 최소 2명이 숨지고, 9명이 부상했습니다.
이 폭발은 이날 밤 의원들의 회의가 막 끝난 시각에 하원 남쪽 정문에서 발생해, 회의장을 나가던 와하브 아크바르 의원과 의원을 기다리던 운전사 한 명이 사망했습니다. 아크바르 의원은 이슬람 아부 사이야프 무장세력과 싸우는 정부를 지지해 왔습니다.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says his country will pursue cooperation with the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog and European states to resolve the Iranian nuclear dispute.
Mr. Ahmadinejad spoke today (Tuesday) during a meeting in Tehran with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
The Iranian Student News Agency says Mr. Ahmadinejad thanked Yang for Beijing's support of Iran in the international arena.
The news agency quotes Yang as saying Tehran has a right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and that Beijing disagrees with unilateral sanctions imposed on Iran by the United States.
Ahead of Yang's visit, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman (Liu Jianchao) urged Iran to respond to international concerns about its nuclear work and show more flexibility on the issue.
