양측은 미국 주최 중동 평화회의 준비 작업에 관한 작업을 계속할 예정이었습니다.
이스라엘 외무부 대변인은 이스라엘은 이번 사건을 유감으로 여기고 있으며 조사가 진행중이라고 밝혔습니다.

A meeting between Palestinian and Israeli negotiators was cancelled today (Sunday) after the Palestinian motorcade was stopped at an Israeli army checkpoint.
Palestinian officials say the motorcade of chief negotiator Ahmed Qorei was stopped on the way to Jerusalem for talks with Israel's chief diplomat, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.
The two sides were scheduled to continue work on preparations for a U.S.-sponsored Mideast peace conference.
A spokesman for the Israeli foreign ministry says Israel regrets the incident, and an investigation is underway.
Earlier today (Sunday), Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said the U.S. conference is a historic opportunity for peace with Israel.
Mr. Abbas made the comment in a speech to tens of thousands of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah to mark the third anniversary of the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
