북핵 6자회담 미국측 수석대표인 크리스토퍼 힐 국무부 동아시아 태평양 담당 차관보는 북한 핵 시설 불능화 작업을 시작할 전문가들이 오는 11월1일 북한을 방문할 것이라고 말했습니다.
힐 차관보는 30일 중국 베이징에서 그같이 말했습니다.
힐 차관보는 이틀 동안 중국에서 중국과 북한 당국자들을 만나 북한 핵 시설 불능화 노력에 관해 논의할 예정입니다.
힐 차관보는 6자회담의 진전을 낙관하면서도 올해 말까지 해야 할 일이 많다고 강조했습니다.
힐 차관보는 오는 11월1일 서울을 방문하고 2일에는 일본을 방문할 예정입니다.

The top U.S. negotiator in nuclear disarmament talks with North Korea says a team of experts will travel to Pyongyang on Thursday to begin disabling the North's nuclear facilities.
Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill made the announcement in Beijing today (Tuesday), where he is meeting with Chinese and North Korean officials to discuss nuclear disablement efforts.
While noting progress in the talks, Hill said there was still a lot to do before the end of the year.
The shutdown is part of a six-nation agreement for North Korea to give up its nuclear program in return for millions of dollars in energy and aid.
North Korea has agreed to accept half of the economic aid it has been promised in the form of equipment and material for repairing its outdated infrastructure, such as its power plants.
