소말리아 해역에서 이번 주 들어 두 번째로 해적들에게 화물선 한 척이 또 납치되는 사건이 발생했습니다.
'동아프리카 선원 지원 프로그램'의 앤드류 음완구라 대표는 29일 밤이나 30일 새벽에 모가디슈 인근 해상에서 화물선이 납치됐다고 말했습니다.
음완구라 대표는 해적들에게 피랍된 선박은 22명의 선원이 탑승한 한국 화물선이라고 말했습니다.
그러나, 한국 외교통상부는 소말리아 해적에 피랍된 선박이 한국 선박이 아니라고 말했습니다.
프랑스 AFP통시은 말레이시아에 본부를 둔 국제해사국 대변인의 말을 인용해, 납치된 선박이 북한 선박이라고 보도했습니다.
한편, 미군 당국자들은 지난 28일 밤 아덴 만에서 피랍된 일본 유조선을 찾기 위해 미군 전함이 소말리아 해역으로 진입했다고 말했습니다..

Pirates have hijacked a cargo ship off the coast of Somalia -- the second such hijacking in the area this week.
The head of the East African Seafarers' Assistance Program, Andrew Mwangura, says the freighter was seized in waters off Mogadishu late Monday or early today (Tuesday).
Mwangura says the vessel is a South Korean cargo ship with 22 crew members on board. But the French News Agency quotes a spokesman for the International Maritime Bureau who says the captured ship is from North Korea.
Meanwhile, U.S. military officials say an American warship has entered Somali territorial waters, in pursuit of the first hijacked vessel. The Japanese-owned chemical tanker (named "Golden Mori") with 23 people on board was seized late Sunday in the Gulf of Aden.
